God has given to each of us something special, a gift that can help us connect with and serve others, a gift that can help us understand our purpose in life, a gift that can help us to “discern God’s will.” Our gift can be fully realized and appreciated if we give ourselves as “living sacrifices” to God. Not using our gift for selfish gain, but for a higher purpose. As Christians we are blessed to know God as Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We can know God as creator and communicator. God in flesh. God moving in our lives. As we seek to know God more deeply...as Jesus asks us to “come” and follow him...even if it means walking to him on the water in a storm...God’s word tells us that we can make Peter’s story our own. We too can have bold faith. We too can walk with God like we never thought possible because God is inviting us to come.
